Foster + Partners is a global studio for architecture, urbanism and design, rooted in sustainability. The focus is on people in their surrounding environment. Reaching for the door handle is often the first contact with a building.

Together with FSB, the designers at Foster + Partners Industrial Design examined historical and contemporary everyday objects to understand how we use everyday objects to interact with the outside world.

FSB + Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier

Color evokes emotion, shaping atmosphere and offering orientation. It highlights a detail or blends it harmoniously into the space. At times, we subconsciously perceive color, while other times it demands attention. At best, when used masterfully, it allows a building, a room or an object to truly shine.

FSB 1289 product collection

At the heart of our various product collections is a sense of singleminded continuity covering all applications. That’s likewise the case with the new FSB 1289 range: the formal idiom of its classic door lever is coherently carried over into a window handle, lockset plate for glass doors and lifting/sliding door handle.
